What is Thailand Embassy Attestation?

Thailand Embassy Attestation is the final Thailand-authority stage, completed after UK legalisation. Your document first receives a physical FCDO apostille, then the Royal Thai Embassy in London adds its physical attestation stamp to the same original.

What it confirms

It confirms the document has completed the required legalisation chain. It does not verify the document's contents.

Document requirements

UK documents commonly legalised for use in Thailand

The documents you need depend on your reason for going to Thailand — always confirm the latest requirements with your employer, university or the Thai authorities. Personal, educational, commercial and legal documents each follow the same chain: certification, the FCDO apostille, then Thailand Embassy attestation. Some go straight to the apostille; others need solicitor or notary certification first — we confirm the exact route before any work begins.

Kuwait Embassy Attestation FAQs

Thailand Embassy Attestation FAQs

Can you help with Thai-to-English or English-to-Thai certified translations?
Yes, we provide certified translations both ways. If your documents are not in English, you need translations before solicitor certification or apostille. Our translators are official, so your documents meet embassy and legal rules.
Usually, tourist visas do not need attestation. But for work, business, or long stays, attested personal or business documents might be needed. Check your visa requirements to be sure.
Yes, business contracts often need attestation. They must be certified, get the FCDO apostille, then embassy stamps. This makes them valid in Thailand.
No, it usually isn’t forever. Validity depends on the document and its use. Some papers need re-attestation after some time. Check with the embassy or your solicitor.
